Wellness in Los Cabos
Spas and wellness in Los Cabos range from resort spas with hydrotherapy circuits and couples rooms to an open-air massage terrace on Medano Beach, skin-care studios and yoga classes you can drop into. Published prices start around US$40 for an hour of beach massage and reach several hundred dollars at resort spas, some of which add a service charge or tax to the menu price.
Wellness is one of the pillars the destination promotes: the Los Cabos Tourism Board launched its Wellness Champions campaign in 2023, and its July 2026 news release gave wellness a section of its own next to golf and new hotels.
This directory brings together the spa and wellness profiles on What’s in Cabo, each checked against the business’s own website, booking page and social accounts. It is complete, alphabetical and unranked: placement in this list is not for sale, and Cabo Passport partners are marked on their own profiles.

What it costs
Each range comes from the business’s own menu or booking page, in the currency it publishes. Rates change by season, so treat them as a guide.
What the menu price may not include. Mexico’s VAT is 16%. Some resort spas add a service charge, and at least one lists its prices before both; ask for the final total and whether the service charge covers the tip.
Before you book
Most surprises at a spa come from the booking, not the massage.
Resort spas set their own rules for visitors who are not staying at the hotel. Ask when you book, and ask whether the sauna, steam room or pools come with your treatment.
Confirm whether the rate includes Mexico’s 16% VAT and any service charge, and whether that charge already covers the tip.
Changing and any hydrotherapy time come before the treatment. Some spas suggest arriving up to an hour early, and late arrivals usually end on schedule.
Ask early for rooms for two or weekend times, and check the cancellation window: the resort spa policies we checked charge in full within 24 hours.

Often, yes, but each resort sets its own rule. Several resort spas in Los Cabos say in their published policies that they welcome visitors who are not hotel guests, by appointment; others don’t say. When you book, ask whether the sauna, steam room or pools come with your treatment.
It depends on where you book. Menus we checked in October 2026 ranged from US$40 for an hour on a beach-bar terrace on Medano Beach to US$158 for 50 minutes at a marina resort spa, and US$250–335 for 60 minutes at luxury resort spas. Some resort spas add a 15% service charge, and at least one also adds 16% tax.
Check the menu before you pay. Mexico’s VAT is 16%. Some Los Cabos resort spas add a 15% service charge, and at least one lists its prices before both the tax and that charge. If the bill already includes a service charge, ask whether it covers the tip.
Yes, especially for couples rooms and weekends. Resort spas in Los Cabos ask for advance reservations, and the resort spa policies we checked charge the full price for cancellations or no-shows within 24 hours; late arrivals usually end at the scheduled time. A few spas take walk-ins only when there is space.
Often, but check. Some spas open their hydrotherapy area to anyone booking a treatment and suggest arriving early, up to an hour, to use the sauna, steam room, hot tub and cold plunge. At others, access is sold separately as a spa pass. Ask what is included when you book.
A temazcal is a traditional Mexican steam bath with pre-Hispanic roots. In Los Cabos, several resort spas offer it as a guided ceremony with heat and herbs. Resort guidance we read advises skipping it if you have a heart condition, high or low blood pressure, epilepsy, an open wound or a bad sunburn, or if you are pregnant.
Resorts often schedule yoga for their own guests, and Cabo San Lucas also has studios that sell single drop-in classes; one listed a class at MXN 320 in October 2026. Ask whether the class is taught in English.
Usually 16 or 18. Most resort spa policies we checked set 18 as the minimum for treatments and wet areas, and one resort spa accepts guests from 16. Some allow younger guests only with a signed waiver or a supervising adult in the room.
