Golden Legends

Golden Legends is the sports bar and restaurant of Marina Fiesta Resort & Spa, on the Cabo San Lucas marina at Paseo de la Marina Lotes 37 y 38, in the stretch the resort calls the Golden Zone. It is one of five restaurants the resort runs side by side on the marina, along with Baja Lobster Co., Jack's, Presto and Los Deseos. The resort describes it simply: a place to watch your favorite games, or to grab a cold beer with friends over burgers, wings and salads. Inside, yellow walls carry framed jerseys, helmets and league banners, with screens over the bar and around the room. Outside, a covered terrace with a foosball table sits on the marina boardwalk, a few steps from the boats. It serves lunch and dinner from 2 PM to 10 PM and closes on Monday.

The menu reads like a game program: starters under Kick Off and Half Time, burgers under Yard 50, the big plates under Champions, salads and meat-free dishes under Green Zone and desserts under Time Out. Wings and boneless come by weight, from 8 to 32 ounces, with nine sauces from Buffalo and lemon pepper to mango habanero and honey curry. Beef burgers use a 7-ounce Angus patty, the house Golden Burger swaps in ribeye, and guests who skip meat have a portobello burger and tempura cauliflower wings. Prices on the posted menu are in pesos with VAT included, and burgers and sandwiches run from 185 to 450 pesos. Marina Fiesta opened in 1991 as the first hotel of the Mexico Grand Hotels group, and it lists Golden Legends in its Dine Out All Inclusive Plan.

Golden Fries — French fries covered in cheddar cheese and sprinkled with bacon bits, the side the house suggests with the Golden Burger.

Vegetarian Wings — Tempura cauliflower tossed in the sauce of your choice, served with celery and carrot sticks.

Hours & Reservations

Hours: Tuesday to Sunday, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Closed on Monday. The resort's dining page lists 2 PM to 10 PM with no closing day, so confirm Monday when booking.
