Jazmin's Breakfast
Fried eggs over a fried tortilla with ham, the house mole, sour cream, cheese and fried plantains.

Jazmin's Restaurant is a traditional Mexican restaurant in downtown San José del Cabo, at Calle José María Morelos 133 in the town centre. It is open every day from 8:00 AM to 10:30 PM, so the same rooms serve chilaquiles and Motuleños eggs in the morning and moles, seafood and tacos at night. On Tuesday and Thursday evenings the restaurant puts on a folkloric dance show with a live singer and saxophone, and on Sundays it sets out a buffet of Mexican guisados, fruit and handmade tortillas from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM that needs no reservation. Prices are in pesos with taxes included: breakfast plates run from 150 to 240 pesos, most dinner mains from 350 to 900, and lobster tail from 1,300 to 2,000. You can book on OpenTable, or call and message the restaurant on WhatsApp.
Both the breakfast and the dinner menus carry the signature of chef Carlos Arista under the heading Mexican Kitchen, and the restaurant describes its menu as a gathering of flavors from every corner of Mexico. The dinner card shows it: Mayan-style cochinita pibil, Michoacán-style carnitas in corn gorditas, a Veracruz-style fish fillet with tomato, peppers and black olives, zarandeado shrimp and a New York aguachile. There is a vegetarian section with grilled cauliflower and a vegetable molcajete, a kids menu, a list of chef's tacos served three to an order, and a bar with tequila, mezcal, margaritas and craft beer. The rooms are dressed in papel picado, flowers, painted tiles and lantern light, and the restaurant calls its atmosphere festive and fully family-friendly.

Breakfast to dinner, every day — open from 8:00 AM to 10:30 PM daily, with chilaquiles, machaca, molletes and pancakes before the dinner menu starts.
Birthdays and groups — the team decorates the table for birthdays and the dessert is on the house, and the restaurant also hosts private events with a set lunch menu for groups.
