Oysters in the Shell
Fresh Baja oysters served on ice at the raw bar, a cornerstone of the kitchen's sea-to-table approach.

Tres Sirenas Cocina del Mar is a seafood-focused fine-dining restaurant on Avenida del Pescador, set just back from Medano Beach in Cabo San Lucas. It is the most ambitious project from veteran restaurateur Edith Jimenez, whose family also runs Edith's, The Office on the Beach, ItalianJob and La Pintada, and it carries that group's signature blend of polish and color. Named for three mermaids, the kitchen builds its menu around the day's catch: Baja oysters and tuna from the raw bar, whole roasted fish, jumbo shrimp and Pacific lobster from the grill. The setting is theatrical, weaving palapa roofs, hand-painted Talavera, lush palms and folk-art mermaid sculptures into a series of distinct dining areas. It is one of Cabo's most atmospheric seafood houses.
The mood at Tres Sirenas is lush, romantic and unmistakably Mexican. Diners move through several themed spaces: a palm-shaded courtyard with blue-tiled floors and serape-draped chairs, an open-air terrace strung with bulb lights, a lantern-lit lounge dressed in glass fishing floats, and a tucked-away Cava wine room for private gatherings. Hand-thrown Talavera, terracotta mermaid statues and a sunset mural give every corner something to look at, while a live band plays nightly, keeping the room warm without overwhelming conversation. It is dinner-only, opening at 5pm, so early tables catch the soft dusk light and later ones the glow of candles and music. It suits date nights, anniversaries and groups who want a festive, full-sensory evening rather than a hushed one.
