About Solmar Beach
Solmar Beach is a wide Pacific-facing beach running from the rocks at Land's End toward the base of Pedregal. It is known for dramatic ocean views, long walks, sunset light, and winter whale watching from shore.
This beach is not safe for swimming. Strong currents, undertow, shore break, and rogue waves are a serious risk along this Pacific stretch. Treat Solmar as a walking, photography, sunset, and whale-watching beach, not a water-entry beach.
