Using the app

Cabo Passport Mobile Terms of Use

These Terms govern your use of Cabo Passport Mobile, including passport memberships, local partner benefits, gift cards, reservations, redemptions, and tourism-related services available through the app.

Cabo Passport helps users discover and access local offers, experiences, reservations, redemptions, gift cards, and partner services in Los Cabos. Availability, pricing, redemption rules, reservation terms, blackout dates, and partner conditions may vary.

Accounts

Account responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining accurate account information and keeping your access credentials secure. You agree not to misuse another person’s account, passport, QR code, gift card, benefit, or redemption access.

Benefits

Passports and benefits

Passport benefits may be subject to partner rules, availability, capacity, expiration dates, redemption limits, and verification requirements. Partners may request valid passport or QR verification before honoring a benefit.

Reservations

Reservations

Reservation requests are not guaranteed until confirmed by the applicable partner. Partners may accept, reject, cancel, or propose alternate times based on availability and their own policies.

Gift cards

Gift cards

Gift cards may be redeemable only with participating partners and may be subject to specific terms, expiration rules, balance rules, and local legal requirements.

Payments

Payments

Cabo Passport may use Stripe or another payment provider to process purchases. Purchases in Cabo Passport relate to physical goods, local services, tourism services, reservations, experiences, memberships, or benefits used outside the app. They are not in-app digital content consumed solely within the app.

Refunds

Refunds and cancellations

Refunds, cancellations, or changes may depend on the purchased item, partner policy, payment status, usage, reservation status, and applicable law. Contact support for assistance.

Conduct

Prohibited use

You agree not to commit fraud, abuse discounts or QR codes, resell unauthorized access, interfere with app security, scrape data, submit false information, or use Cabo Passport in a way that violates law or partner rules.

Third-party services

Cabo Passport may link to or use third-party services such as payment providers, maps, communication tools, or partner websites. Those services may have their own terms and privacy policies.

Updates

Changes to services

Cabo Passport features, partners, benefits, prices, availability, and terms may change over time. We may update the app or these Terms as needed.

Liability

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cabo Passport is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for partner actions outside our reasonable control.

Account deletion

Account deletion

You can delete your account inside the app at:

Profile > Personal Info > Delete account

Some transaction, payment, reservation, redemption, legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, or audit records may be retained where required or permitted.
