Sen Lin at Grand Velas Los Cabos

Sen Lin is the Asian-fusion restaurant at Grand Velas Los Cabos, set along the Carretera Transpeninsular in the Tourist Corridor between Cabo San Lucas and San José del Cabo. Its name means "forest," and the kitchen focuses on Northeast and Southeast Asian cooking with a strong Thai accent — curries, satay, Vietnamese-style rolls, ramen and pad thai. It is a newer addition to the resort's dining lineup, led by executive chef Víctor Gerardo Hernández Osorio. The dining room, designed by Larissa García of Cassal Diseño, layers damask marble, green onyx and high-gloss wood around a marble-clad central column, with cascading bead chandeliers and live greenery that echo the forest theme.

The menu reads as a tour of Thai and Southeast Asian classics: skewered satay with peanut sauce, coconut-rich Tom Kha Gai, Panang curry with grilled duck, wok-crisped chicken with cashews, and a tamarind Phad Thai, closing with mango and coconut sticky rice. As an à la carte restaurant inside an all-inclusive resort, Sen Lin is served on-property, and advance reservations are arranged through the Grand Velas Los Cabos concierge. With its intimate, low-lit room, it reads as a dinner-and-occasion spot rather than a casual drop-in.
